Arrived for the demo at about 11.00am and found it blowing a nice F5-6 NW'ly so rigged up my flow and 5.0m Impact to get out and have fun.

Didn't try any demo kit as I'm still getting the hang of waves and feel more at home on my own kit and don't really want to trash the demo kit.

Felt a bit more at home in the surf today so just concentrated on trying to keep up some speed and negotiate the white water. I think I was a lot better getting in the straps and blasting in these conditions than I have been in the past so I was pleased with that.

Stayed on the inside blasting out until I went in then came back in riding any waves I could pick up.

Ended up rather tired but great fun. Great to have so many people out in the water of all abilities, really makes a nice change. need another go in these conditions soon as I think I should be out the back having a play next time.

Good evening in the Victoria to follow and quite a few pints of Banks's....
